Bio: Vivek is a mechanical engineering graduate, who is presently working as a project assistant at CGPL, IISc. He has been trained in interdisciplinary work in the field of design and simulation across various streams in the mechanical engineering domain. Vivek is a positively driven individual who has continually admired the positives of research and he believes in making a difference, when the opportunity arrives and strives to move forward in the same direction. Presently, serving as a project assistant, he has been working on process testing & optimization of biomass gasification system coupled with gas separation unit to obtain high purity ISO grade hydrogen for various downstream applications. Working closely with the PhD scholars, he has been involved in theoretical verification and analytical simulation of gas separation unit (VPSA system) to study the kinetics, using ASPEN Adsorption.
