Bio: Dr. Sadhan Mahapatra completed Phd. from CST department, Indian Institute of Science (IISc), Bengaluru. He is presently working as Professor and Head, Department of Energy, Tezpur University. Dr. Sadhan has more than 25 years of teaching and research experience in the field of Renewable Energy, Energy Management and Conservation. His primary research areas are Biomass Gasification, Climate Responsive Buildings, Thermal Comfort, Photovoltaic Systems and Decentralized energy systems. He has more than 75 scientific publications in reputed international journals and conferences. He has supervised more than 50 MTech students and 4 PhD students are presently working under his supervision. He is a Fellow of the Institution of Engineers and member of the International Solar Energy Society, etc. He is also a Member of the Governing Council of Solar Energy Society of India, New Delhi.
