Curriculum Vitae
Bio: Mohammed Asheruddin is a PhD student at the Centre for Sustainable Technologies, Indian Institute of Science. Mohammed’s research concerns gaining insights into thermochemical conversion of solid fuels. The specific objective is to investigate the combustion and gasification of solid fuels experimentally and numerically at the particle level. Thereupon, extending the fundamental understandings towards building efficient energy systems and optimizing the existing systems. Prior to his candidature at the Indian Institute of Science, Mohammed was the university rank holder in his Master’s degree in Energy Engineering and his Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical engineering from Visvesvaraya Technological university, India. His research interests include numerical modelling of thermal systems, computational fluid dynamics, heat and mass transfer analysis of thermal systems, thermodynamic and fluid dynamics
