Bio: Dr. Amit is working as a postdoctoral researcher at Clean Water Technology Lab - CLEWATEC, Department of Experimental Thermal Fluid Dynamics, Helmholtz-Zentrum Dresden-Rossendorf. He is researching the use of hydrodynamic cavitation as an advanced oxidation treatment method to remove emerging contaminants from wastewater. Dr. Amit received his PhD (European joint doctorate) through Marie Skłodowska-Curie scholarship from the Universities of Girona, Spain, and Belgrade, Serbia. He completed his master's degree in sustainable technology at the Indian Institute of Science (IISc) in Bengaluru, where he was supervised by Professor S Dasappa and Dr. L Rao. His master reseacher activities were completed at Combustion Gasification and Propulsion Laboratory (CGPL). He further worked as a research assistant at CGPL under Prof. S Dasappa.
