Bio: Disha M D is a project assistant at Combustion Gasification and Propulsion Laboratory (CGPL), Indian Institute of Science. Her current area of work is operation and optimization of polymer electrolyte membrane fuel cells (PEMFCs) and solid oxide fuel cells (SOFCs) using hydrogen generated from biomass through thermochemical route. She graduated with a B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering and specialization in Thermo-Fluids Engineering from PES University, Bengaluru. Her research interests include sustainable energy, e-waste recycling and communicating climate change. Her other interests are tourism, wildlife, sports, social service, reading and music.
