Bio: Ashray Udaya Shankar currently works as a Project Associate at Combustion, Gasification and Propulsion Laboratory, IISC, Bangalore. He works on the Project management of process testing & optimization of biomass gasification system coupled with a vacuum pressure swing adsorption gas separation system to obtain high purity ISO grade hydrogen for fuel cell applications. He has about 6 years of experience working in the energy domain across various organisations including Trina Solar, China and ETA Florence Renewable Energies, Florence, Italy. He holds a Master’s degree in Computational Engineering from Friedrich Alexander-Universitat, Germany and a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from RV College of Engineering Bangalore. His areas of interest include project management, design of experiments, development of analytical assessment frameworks, data analysis and techno-economic modelling.
