Bio: Arvind is working in areas of thermochemical conversion of cellulosic biomass to generate hydrogen enriched syngas to establish biomass as a potential source, and gasification as a technology to generate green hydrogen. The process utilizes oxygen and steam mixture as the gasification media. Oxygen acts as the oxidizing medium and burns a part of the combustible gases while steam helps the process in hydrogen enrichment. Arvind completed his master’s degree from IIT Roorkee, and the thesis was on Design and Simulation of solar thermal cooling and heating system. His interests include alternative energy systems, green hydrogen, sustainable technologies, solar thermal systems, energy efficiency, modelling of energy systems and energy markets.
